The Arcadia Reptile Jungle Dawn LED Bar is sleek, bold, powerful, capable of providing the energy needed to allow plants to grow, and to cause active warming in arid species by increasing visible light levels in terrariums and vivariums. This intelligent system uses the latest ‘Full-Spectrum High Output’ LED diodes to project up to 141 lumens per watt. Place one on top of a display or fit it inside your terrarium, wherever you decide to use yours, the Jungle Dawn LED Bar will provide high levels of quality, energy-rich light.

Using a specifically engineered combination of full-spectrum, high-output LEDs, Arcadia has created an LED bar that can project a vast amount of light at a very high PAR value. Jungle Dawn LED Bar projects a full spectrum of light that mimics natural visible sunlight (6200kelvin), along the ‘Photosynthetic Active Response Curve’, but without using PAR limiting separate red and blue diodes.

The Arcadia Jungle Dawn LED Bar can be easily connected to form a chain of up to 10 units. It can also be connected with the Arcadia Reptile ProT5 UVB systems ( ProT5 Kit – Forest 6% , ProT5 Kit – Desert 12% and ProT5 Kit – Dragon 14% ), reducing the number of wall sockets required per terrarium. Each unit comes with a power cord with integrated switch, fitting kit to allow you to place this bar inside a terrarium, and a ‘Link’ cable. The LED bar can be used with all standard ‘mesh’ terrariums, 12”/30cm, 18”/45cm, 24”/60cm, 36”/90cm wide.

The Arcadia Reptile JungleDawn-LED Bar uses a 'triple track' LED configuration with a high degree of built-in internal shielding. The Jungle Dawn LED Bar will project a very broad, uniform and usable 'flood' of energy-rich lighting, removing the risks associated with 'point source' LED lamps. This LED system will increase visible light levels for ground baskers and provide the energy needed for plant growth. Jungle Dawn LED Bar creates a large amount of light, significantly reducing the need to use a large number of fluorescent plant growth lights.

Plants need to have access to the correct amount of energy and within the correct light spectrum to be able to replace cells that are damaged or die naturally each day. If we power a plant with less energy, we reduce its ability to create cells through photosynthesis, limiting growth. Typically, plants that lack energy display discolored leaves and have a tendency to “jump” as they grow quickly to be closer to a light source. Healthy plants display good color, strong root networks, and grow at a moderate, even rate.
